Once Mickey kisses him, Adam starts soul-searching and finds his heart, which is full of love for Mickey. But these two young men will have their love put to the test, as they face a future of uncertainty and fear.

KICK-OFF POST!

Here it is! 

Tomorrow my debut novel "The Sacrifices We Make" will be released by Harmony Ink Press and today the corresponding Blog Tour begins!

I've known that I was going to be a published author for awhile now and yet, it still doesn't seem real. In the last few weeks, I have gone though multiple edits for my book, worked on the blurb, my bio and even talked about the cover. I've met wonderful people in the course of planning my blog tour and getting my name out in the world of social media. I have even gotten reviewed! And yet, I still can't seem to fathom this. It seems like a crazy dream I am about to wake up from. But regardless of how I feel about the release, it is almost here. Ready or not!

So I think that in this first post, I have to thank everyone who helped make this possible. First to Elizabeth and Nessa over at Dreamspinner and Harmony Ink, I owe the two of you so much. You gave me a chance to become a published author and that it something that I can never repay. I only hope I will be able to prove that you were right by taking a chance on me. Next to all of the people at DSP/Harmony Ink who helped me along each step of the process. I know that I have a lot to learn about being a published author and I appreciate everyone's help. (Especially the editors, who had to put up with my lack of care when it comes to commas.) Oh, and a special shout-out to Aaron who designed my cover. I know that I had a lot of weird requests and you made every single one happen. So thank you.

Outside of the publisher, I want to thank all of the authors who helped make me feel so welcome. (Especially Cody Kennedy and he knows why.) I learned a lot from all of you and I have enjoyed meeting and talking with everyone. And, of course, a special thank you to everyone who is hosting me over the course of the blog tour.

(Wow. So many people to thank. No wonder Oscar winners always sound so rushed.)

And, finally, I have to thank the most important group of people. The READERS! The book hasn't even been released yet and I'm already completely floored by the response! "The Sacrifices We Make" is already a bestseller for its genre on All Romance ebooks. That's right! If you go on the site you will see a little silver star next to the book. I can't tell you how excited I was when I saw that. Right now the book is in the Top 40 for its genre and has been for over a week! (I checked today and found out I was 19 out of 1846!) I can't wait to see what happens when the book is actually released.

My Very First Review

Hello everyone! Well, I knew this day was coming. I have officially gotten my first review as a writer. I was a little nervous since I never got one before, but after a few hours I finally manned up and read the review. It was AMAZING.
